The new 1942 Banner J-45 includes a Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top hand-sprayed with a historic-style burst, hot hide glue top bracing for better tonal response, and a bone nut and saddle. This instrument is in excellent, almost unplayed condition with COA and original hard shell case.

Back and sides of solid mahogany generate rich midrange presence and focus, limiting ringing overtones. The torrefied Sitka spruce top serves up projection and clarity with a touch of extra warmth and depth from their special roasting process, which simulates some of the changes in the wood that occur naturally with age. This Builder's Edition model boasts chamfered edges and a compound-carve neck profile for a seamless feel, along with a Silent Satin finish to reduce incidental noise.

    This lovely one-owner J45 Custom has been well cared for, is in excellent condition and sounds great. The action is nice and low as the guitar just received a professional neck reset. There is also a repair in the Rosewood on the treble side of the neck heel but if we didn’t mention it, you’d never see it. All in all the guitar is nicely buffed, near perfect and is gig-ready with an active pick-up. With the original hard shell case.

Over all condition of this guitar is barely touched with little to no signs of play wear except for a minuscule scratch on the headstock overlay when the guitar was re-strung. Back and sides of neo-tropical mahogany flavor the sound with dry, woody character, coupling beautifully with the dynamic response of the torrefied Sitka spruce top. The Builder’s Edition stamp means that the 517 is detailed with premium features designed to maximize player comfort, including chamfered body edges and a new compound-carve neck profile that compensates for the change in your hand position as you move along the neck.     This stately 2018 Bourgeois DS Custom will blow you away with its warmth and subtle tonal resonances but it will also dazzle you with its tastefully chosen Brazilian Rosewood appointments. Dana Bourgeois selects the most striking tone-woods for all of his builds, the Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce on this guitar is just beautiful in color and grain. The Sinker Mahogany back and sides exude a rich voice that has that classic musicality. This instrument features a 12 fret to the body construction which is extremely comfortable. The slotted head-stock adds an overall resonance to the neck along with a high-frequency boost that is scintillating on the ear. Bourgeois guitars are extremely comfortable to play, with a slim modern neck with the slightest of V just enough to fit in the crook of ones hands. This guitar was gently used, only the usual superficial finish wear you expect of a well loved instrument. No dings or dents of note and little to no wear on the pick-guard. There is a super tiny nick on the neck where someones nail may have caught when moving the thumb to the G chord position. Light to medium fret-wear on the Bluegrass melody frets. Comes with original deluxe Bourgeois hard shell case with their signature green crushed velvet interior.     Originally listed by Sound Pure in North Carolina for $7470, this top of the line Goodall features the finest figured Mahogany and Adirondack Spruce. This instrument exudes warmth and depth, both in tone and volume while maintaining a crisp clarity. The Mahogany has a rich, musical balance paired with the Adirondack it goes from 0-60 in .01 seconds. Amazingly responsive to both finger-style and aggressive flat picking this guitar can do it all. Tying it all together is a beautiful figured Maple binding on body and neck. The traditional vintage appointments on the rest of the guitar give it a classic, understated look even with the top shelf tone woods. Being a 12 fret guitar every note is within reach making. Combine that with the medium sized neck (not too slim not too fat) you have an extremely comfortable instrument to play. Comes with original hard shell case. Condition: Excellent condition as would be expected of a well loved and cared for instrument with the usual light finish and fret wear. There is a dent on the back of the neck in the cowboy chord position that is only felt when playing the F chord. A pickup was installed by the skilled team over at the Music Emporium in Massachusetts.
