Telecaster
2006 Fender "1952" Telecaster
$1,499.00Butterscotch blonde, and a nice beefy 50s neck, this thing is a total classic! Classic tele twang, shimmer and sparkle abound with a good bit of growl if it calls for it. This thing plays easy, looks good and is a real dependable machine. There is a bit of finish wear at the headstock where it was hung, some finish checking on the neck, a cigarette burn near the low e string tuner and the frets were a bit corroded when they came in so we flitzed them and they play nice now. Overall very good condition. Comes with a tweed hard shell case.Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom 1959 Telecaster® Custom - Rosewood

$3,499.00Weighing in at a svelte 7 lbs, 8 oz, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the '57 Telecaster Journeyman Relic. An expertly crafted incarnation of the Telecaster from a particularly prized model year, it's loaded with looks, sound and vibe that authentically evoke the instrument in the second half of its debut decade. The two-piece select ash body produces sweet midrange and tight lows, and wears striking Journeyman Relic lacquer finishes in Aged White Blonde, Wide Fade Two-Color Sunburst and Aged Candy Tangerine. This special treatment imparts the look of a guitar that has changed hands or been handed down over the years, mostly played around the house and the occasional jam session or weekend gig. This generally well-cared-for look includes light finish checking, several "friendly" down-to-the-wood nicks and dings, some dulling of the hardware, and general moderate playing wear. The look of a very lucky find, in short. The one-piece quartersawn maple neck is sculpted with a '57-style Soft "V" profile for comfortable and period-correct full-hand feel, topped by a 9.5" radius maple fingerboard with 21 narrow tall (6105) frets and a bone nut. Dual Custom Shop hand-wound '58 Telecaster pickups with Fat '50s Tele wiring deliver clear, crisp highs with well-balanced midrange and low end. Other premium features include a single-ply parchment pickguard, three-way pickup switch, '55-'57 Telecaster® bridge with steel barrel saddles, vintage-style tuners, wing string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. $2,569.99The Fender® American Vintage II series presents a remarkably accurate take on the revolutionary designs that altered the course of musical history. Built with period-accurate bodies, necks and hardware, premium finishes and meticulously voiced, year-specific pickups, each instrument captures the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone. Just one year after launching the Broadcaster®, Fender received a cease-and-desist telegram from the Fred Gretsch Mfg. Co. and was faced with renaming its flagship electric guitar. Taking inspiration from the booming growth and expansive reach of television, the first blackguard Telecaster rolled off the line in 1951, and the model has been in continuous production ever since. Deceptively simple and totally groundbreaking, the Telecaster® brought the solid body electric guitar to the masses, inspiring countless musicians along the way. The American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster features an ash body finished in Butterscotch Blonde to capture the tone and look of the original. The substantial '51 "U"-shaped hard rock maple neck plays like a dream with a 7.25" radius fingerboard and vintage tall frets. Characteristic of production in 1951, 12 th fret face-dot spacing is narrow and the sole Phillips-head fastener on the guitar is at the truss rod nut. The triple brass saddle bridge, single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners and Pure Vintage '51 Telecaster pickups deliver classic twang and authentic Fender style. The instruments in the American Vintage II series are direct descendants of the original Fenders: designed for players with a fine appreciation for vintage Fender tone and feel and built with unmatched quality, down to the last screw. If you are a Telecaster lover this guitar is for you. This Blonde 1970 Telecaster has a wonderful tone and feel. It is in very good to excellent condition for a guitar of that year and is a total jaw dropper. I love the look of this guitar with the ash tray installed and it actually serves a nice practical purpose as it is more comfortable to rest ones hand on it rather than the intonation pole-pieces. This guitar also features a super nice neck, quite comfortable and appears to have a gloss finish. This is an absolute keeper, will not last long in our inventory and will be sorely missed when it is sold and gone. Comes with a new deluxe G&G case with gold crushed velvet interior.Sold
