  • Taylor Builder's Edition 324ce
    Sold

    Taylor Builder's Edition 324ce

Featuring a never-before-used tonewood and a host of player-focused design enhancements, the Builder’s Edition 324ce acoustic guitar represents Taylor’s ongoing marriage of innovative acoustic design with forward-thinking strategy toward a more sustainable future. The star here is Urban Ash™, a tonewood sourced from city trees that have been selected for removal from urban settings due to weather or disease damage, public safety concerns, disruptive root systems, and simply reaching the end of their life cycle. Instead of allowing this beautiful, functional wood to end its life cycle in a landfill, we’ve reclaimed it for use in the backs and sides of this 324ce, offering a tonal response similar to high-tier mahogany: dry and woody, with a fundamental-strong response that produces clear notes largely free from ringing overtones. Paired with a mahogany top, this Grand Auditorium produces clear midrange presence and crisp highs over a rich low end that will satisfy strummers and fingerstyle players alike. V-Class bracing offers its trademark blend of power and resonance, emphasizing this guitar’s robust midrange while producing a more in-tune, musical sound. In keeping with the Builder’s Edition philosophy, this 324ce features an array of enhancements designed to provide the ultimate playing experience, including chamfered body and fretboard edges, a beveled armrest and cutaway, and a Curve Wing bridge. Other appointments include Compass inlays in faux pearl and Italian acrylic, Gotoh 510 tuners with a super-precise 21:1 gear ratio, a Silent Satin finish with a dark edgeburst treatment for an ultra-clean, noise-free sound, and ES2 electronics. It ships in a deluxe Taylor hardshell case.

  • Taylor 814ce
    Sold

    Taylor 814ce

Newly consolidated with the 814ce DLX, our flagship Grand Auditorium retains all of its sonic power with new features devoted to a smoother playing experience and updated aesthetics. In this 814ce, the classic tonewood combination of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce still delivers its characteristic blend of warmth, low-end presence and high-range sparkle, elevated to new heights by V-Class bracing. Notes sustain longer, allowing rosewood’s rich overtones to bloom with more clarity than ever, and the advanced bracing scheme introduces greater power and tunefulness across the entire tonal spectrum for a rich and expressive sound. New features include a radius-style rosewood armrest and smoked nickel tuners, along with 800 Series standard appointments such as a smoky ebony fretboard sourced from Taylor’s Crelicam mill in Cameroon, maple binding, rosewood edge trim, an abalone rosette edged with rosewood, and mother-of-pearl Element fretboard and peghead inlays. The 814ce also includes a Venetian cutaway and our ES2 acoustic electronics, and ships in a deluxe hardshell case.
  • Taylor 914ce
    Sold

    Taylor 914ce

Our 900 Series stands out as our most luxurious class of rosewood guitars, blending a raft of tone-enhancing details with premium aesthetic features. The 914ce acoustic-electric Grand Auditorium boasts V-Class™ bracing, which functions as a new sonic engine for the guitar. Not only does it enhance the volume and sustain, it also changes the soundboard movement in a way that improves the guitar’s natural intonation, or “in-tuneness.” The result is more power in the upper register and more harmonic agreement between all fretted notes, which helps chord voicings sing like never before. Players who love the deep lows and sparkling highs of rosewood will appreciate how well behaved the overtones are as notes bloom. Premium features include a beveled ebony armrest that makes your picking/strumming arm more comfortable, along with Gotoh 510 tuners, whose 21:1 gear ratio allows for precise tuning. Refined appointments include ebony binding, our Ascension fretboard/peghead inlay in paua and pearl, a paua rosette with koa and ebony purfling, and paua/koa trim along much of the body and neck. All V-Class guitars feature a black graphite nut and a new guitar label that bears the signature of master guitar designer Andy Powers.
  • Taylor 812ce 12-Fret
    Sold

    Taylor 812ce 12-Fret

The Grand Concert’s intimate body size and 24-⅞-inch scale length make for a comfortable playing experience that fingerstyle players are bound to love. The 12-fret version of the 812ce yields a slightly different character than the 14-fret because the bridge position is closer to the center of the lower bout and because the bracing profile was modified to emphasize a bolder attack. Players can expect plenty of the Grand Concert’s signature articulation with a slightly meatier, more robust tonal output. Recently integrated with the 800 Deluxe Series, this year’s edition of the 812ce 12-Fret includes a radius-style rosewood armrest for enhanced playing comfort. It features our V-Class bracing design, which bolsters this small-bodied guitar with added projection and sustain, bringing out more of Indian rosewood’s harmonic complexity. If you like a slightly darker, punchier quality in a small guitar, the 812ce 12-Fret is a great choice.

  • Taylor AD17
    Sold

    Taylor AD17

This Grand Pacific model is the first of our round-shoulder dreadnoughts to feature back and sides of solid ovangkol, an African tonewood that shares rosewood’s warmth and brilliance with additional presence in the midrange. Topped with solid spruce, the AD17 serves up a blend of sparkle and clean low-end power, enhanced by V-Class bracing for greater volume, longer sustain, and a more in-tune sound. That seasoned, vintage-hued tone is reflected in this model’s strikingly classic look, with a natural top and a deep Urban Sienna color treatment for the ovangkol back and sides. Minimally decorated but finely crafted, the AD17 also features chamfered body edges, stained spruce edge trim, a three-ring rosette in Hawaiian koa, and a faux tortoiseshell pickguard. The 2.0 mil-thick matte body finish minimizes damping for unfettered resonance. It ships in a Taylor AeroCase.
  • Taylor K24ce Builder's Edition
    Sold

    Taylor K24ce Builder's Edition

The latest koa entry in the Builder’s Edition family is this Grand Auditorium K24ce, build with all-solid Hawaiian koa with V-Class bracing under the hood. Sonically, it bears the hallmarks of koa’s unique tone, with high-end clarity balanced against the volume and sustain improvements delivered by the new bracing scheme. Koa’s inimitable aging properties also make this guitar a special find, opening and adding depth and sweetness as the guitar is played over time. Designed to optimize the player’s experience with a handful of ergonomic features, this model includes a double-contoured cutaway for easy playing all the way down to the highest frets, along with a smooth armrest that takes the pressure off the player’s strumming arm. The Silent Satin finish treatment adds a subtle visual touch while removing much of the incidental noise that comes from the player’s arm movement, making this an ideal choice for session or studio players looking to lay down tracks. It ships with ES2 electronics in a deluxe hardshell case.
  • 2021 Taylor GT Urban Ash
    Sold

    2021 Taylor GT Urban Ash

Designed from the ground up for comfort, playability and rich tone, the GT Urban Ash debuts a new compact body shape with a big, resonant acoustic voice. The GT (Grand Theater) shares the basic footprint of the jumbo-sized Grand Orchestra shape, but its proportions have been scaled down (including a shallower body depth), creating a fun, inviting feel in a package that you can take virtually anywhere. The GT also features a uniquely proportioned neck with a scale length of 24-⅛”, a bit longer than the GS Mini and a bit shorter than the Grand Concert. The neck provides a slinky fretting feel thanks to reduced string tension. It comes together in the GT Urban Ash, built with solid back and sides of the responsibly sourced tonewood that gives the guitar its name. A solid spruce top helps charge the GT’s tonal response with projection that belies its small frame, powered by the new asymmetrical C-Class bracing design, which translates the tone-enhancing properties of V-Class bracing into a sonic engine that’s appropriate for this new body shape. Expect a warm, punchy midrange accentuated by crisp treble notes, with an impressive bass response that owes its surprising power to the new bracing scheme. A beautiful fretboard of responsibly sourced smoked eucalyptus delivers the feel of a rosewood fretboard with the tonal character of ebony, while a thin matte finish preserves the guitar’s resonance. A clean-cut appointment package includes Pinnacle inlays in Italian acrylic, a three-ring koa rosette and a dusky Urban Sienna stain on the ash back and sides. It ships in a super-durable yet lightweight AeroCase™.

Taylor’s special roasting process draws a more aged-in, sweetened response from the torrefied spruce top, and the 12-fret setup brings the bridge closer to the center of the lower bout for stronger midrange presence and a slinkier, more relaxed feel for your fretting hand. This 652ce is appointed to deliver a playing experience that matches its robust tone, with chamfered body and fretboard edges, a smooth Curve Wing bridge, and beveled armrest and cutaway providing a truly fluid, intimate connection between player and instrument.
