Featuring a Thermo-cured Red Spruce (Picea rubens) top, Mahogany back and sides, 12 frets to the body and 24.9 scale length, this guitar has the power of a 14 fret DS but with a rounder tonal quality. To many players, 12-fret guitars are imbued with near-mystical qualities. When the neck is moved two frets toward the body, the sound hole and bridge must follow its trajectory and the bracing must be rearranged to suit. This OO cutaway features a very Aged Tone Bearclaw Figured Sitka Spruce top and genuine Mahogany back and sides. Its 1 23/32" nut width, cutaway and short scale length makes this guitar play like butter! We think of the D Law Model as the perfect Mahogany Dreadnought guitar. It’s balance and has plenty of power for full sounding soloing. This guitar hits the ‘bulls-eye’ for a responsive, playful dreadnought with a dynamic range that can hold its own in ensemble settings. This is a serious instrument that cuts through with clear low end, but with the warmth and trebles needed for pristine solo work. This guitar features an Italian Spruce top with Adirondack Bracing attached with hot hide glue. The back is premium Mahogany. It has a 25.25” scale, 1 11/16” width nut and a 2 3/16” bridge spacing for great playability. It comes with a deluxe hard shell case.

This over-the-top sounding Slope D features Figured Sinker Mahogany with an Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce top and the full Aged Tone package including body finish as well Aged Tone Double Scalloped "Banjo Killer" bracing. The S-35M is currently Lowden's only guitar model which comes with a hardwood soundboard as standard. This particular tone wood, Fiddleback Mahogany, is warm and responsive through a mild and easy grain structure. The S-35M is beautiful looking and beautifully responsive. With hard shell case.

Aged Tone bracing adds to the great tone of this instrument. Thanks to neck through construction, lasting sustain is in your future. Rich low end response and crystalline highs are also a credit to the neck construction. The body is carved with tummy and elbow contours for an incredibly comfortable fit. The elbow carving also exposes the layers of accent laminates under the top. Electronics include a volume and filter for each pickup. Pickup selection is logical with an off/on/bright switch for each pickup. The amount of brightness in the "bright" setting can be adjusted to your personal preferences with a screwdriver-adjusted trimpot in the electronics cavity. The output jack is side-mounted and features welded palladium contacts for durability. One of the new models from the IRIS guitar company, the ND-200 is their Jumbo guitar inspired by Guild guitars of yore. This one features a 1 11/16" nut width and a full 25.5" scale length. The top is Sitka and the back and sides are Mahogany, but it looks like they threw in a nice piece of figured Mahogany at no extra charge perhaps by accident. This guitar has punch, girth and warmth. Comes with a TKL hard shell case. This is new old stock being sold as clearance and is sold as-described.
