2023 Collings 470 JL Antiqued Sunburst
The success of the Collings OM1 JL combined with Julian Lage’s love of electric guitars meant a second Collings-Julian collaboration was inevitable. But following such a highly praised signature model with yet another meant leaving nothing on the table. From its organic beginnings, the process envisioned by both parties was something designed and built from the sound up. The Collings 470 JL is the result of years-long conversations, engineering, testing, tweaking, playing, and listening. And then doing it all over again until it was right. From first sketches through plugging in the final prototypes, every aspect of this model inside and out is the result of a unique approach, technique, and style - both from the builder’s and player’s point of view - culminating in a one-of-a-kind electric guitar experience.Sold

2022 Collings OM1 Mh SS VN
Looking for a guitar with wow factor? Collings does it about as nicely as anybody. This gently used OM1 Mh SS VN is exceptional and in excellent overall condition. Hog top OM guitars are not common and this one has a couple of features that set it apart even further. This OM is short scale (thus the SS) making it super easy to play and the VN stands for Vintage Now neck carve, so a little different from the standard Collings neck. It is a slim modern carve, but with just enough V to fit the crook of the hand. Everything about this guitar makes you want to play it more and more, stunning craftsmanship. My favorite thing about this instrument is the nice warm, dry and round tone of the Mahogany top. It really rounds out the tone as Collings guitars are known for having a crisp articulate tone already. This guitar is in excellent overall condition, with little to no fret-wear, and light pickguard wear. This instrument is just about as nice as they come and whoever nabs this one is going to be lucky!Sold

It is in excellent and comes with a deluxe TKL Collings case. 1 3/4" Nut & 2 3/16" Saddle Spacing This guitar has a wonderful mature tone, with extraordinary balance and articulation. The German spruce gives it great clarity and even though the D2H G is a top shelf flat pick guitar, I found this to be a sweet sounding instrument fingerpicked. The Collings Modified V neck shape feels like an extremely comfortable C with just enough V to fit the crook of ones hand. The full gloss neck, combined with the handsome Collings volute and sharp headstock angles give this dreadnought an elegant, refined look. In summary, this D2H G holds true to Collings reputation for refinement and top shelf quality. Nice low action, light pinky cuticle wear on the pick-guard, lots of meat on the saddle. This guitar has been babied by its one owner. Little to no fret-wear and one microscopic ding in the finish at the upper left bout.Sold
