Collings brings a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar. A hard shell case is included.

The combination of the stiff Adirondack spruce top with enlarged soundhole, supported by a top bracing pattern based on the earliest 14-fret dreadnoughts, make the CW a bluegrass powerhouse. Everything about this model is designed to provide plenty of headroom and projection for aggressive playing, but not at the expense of good tone. With hard shell case.

    Taylor Builder's Edition 814ce

    $4,499.00
The 814ce has long been considered Taylor's flagship acoustic-electric guitar thanks to its mix of lush tone, playing comfort and all-purpose musical appeal. Here, we're thrilled to present the next evolution of this classic model: the Builder's Edition 814ce. For this version, we've kept the solid Indian rosewood back and sides and paired them with a four-piece Adirondack spruce top, a combo that yields an enticing blend of low-end warmth, treble-range clarity and remarkable power, with our V-Class bracing inside to draw out more of the blooming overtones and rich sustain that players love. A handful of comfort-focused enhancements, such as a beveled armrest and cutaway and a subtle body taper, elevate the relaxed, accommodating feel of the Grand Auditorium body, while a striking full-body gloss finish and Kona burst for the back and sides raise this model's visual profile. Whether you're looking for an all-purpose musical workhorse or an heirloom-quality guitar to augment your collection, the Builder's Edition 814ce makes a compelling case as the most quintessentially "Taylor" guitar we've ever built.

  • Huss and Dalton DS-12 Fret Custom

Huss and Dalton DS-12 Fret Custom

    $6,927.00
    $6,235.00
Featuring a Thermo-cured Red Spruce (Picea rubens) top, Mahogany back and sides, 12 frets to the body and 24.9 scale length, this guitar has the power of a 14 fret DS but with a rounder tonal quality. To many players, 12-fret guitars are imbued with near-mystical qualities. When the neck is moved two frets toward the body, the sound hole and bridge must follow its trajectory and the bracing must be rearranged to suit. There’s no reason to think it will project like a 14-fretter, and it doesn’t. It’s bigger! And not a guitar for the timid! w/TKL Tweed Case w/H&D logo
Adirondack Spruce is a top choice guitar soundboard upgrade. We are proud to stock a robust selection of Adirondack Spruce top guitars in a variety of body shapes and sizes. Tonally Adirondack tends to have a meaty mid range and the stiffness to be driven aggressively with a pick without distortion. This is why it is often a top choice for flat picking bluegrass players.
