Sold2009 Santa Cruz 1929 OO All Mahogany
One of our absolute favorite guitar models, the 1929 00 from Santa Cruz has a warm, rich and dry tone that sings. The compact form factor and short scale made this easy to play. The one big feature on this guitar that makes it a little different from other 1929 00 models we have had in the past is the slotted headstock, which gives it an extra high-end tonal sparkle. In overall excellent condition, the action is great, healthy saddle height and light fret wear this guitar is ready to play! The only wear of note are two tiny dings on the back at the lower bout. This guitar comes with its original Santa Cruz case.

This beautiful Martin 000-28 features pre-war construction techniques with the added modern benefit of a Truss Rod. The lovely Adirondack and Indian Rosewood tonewood combination will blow you away! This H13 was completed in 2006 and was customized with a Cedar top, cowboy rope rosette/purfles/back strip, Redwood Burl overlay, tortoise neck and fingerboard binding, and pickguard unattached. Other standard features include Ivoroid body and neck binding and rosette, S28 purfling and backstripe and Ivoroid Nickel Waverly tuners. It is in excellent condition, sounds great and had good, low action. It comes with its original hard shell case.

The neck has enough width to facilitate the nylon strings but at the same time the cambered fingerboard allows for a wide variety of playing styles. The Lowden Jazz is fitted with an board pickup as standard. The soundbox is voiced for a really great acoustic response, and at the same time stiff enough to prevent the whole guitar from overreacting when played loud through a sound system. Here we have a unique (maybe the only one for sale in the USA) BSG 00027F guitar hand crafted in Czechoslovakia. If you are in the market for a reasonably priced, hand build 000 size guitar this one should be seriously considered. It has a lovely balanced tone with the European Spruce lending a nice brightness and articulation. The 12-fret to body construction and smaller body makes this guitar super comfortable to play. The neck is a nice round C-neck, not to slim and also not too chunky, just right. The nut is 1 3/4" and precision tuning is a breeze with the high end 510 Gotoh tuners. The appointments on this guitar are beautiful and tasteful. This guitar is completely bound in wood, from the body to the neck to the headstock which is a deluxe feature of any guitar. There is a tastefully done Abalone rosette on this guitar to lend some bling, without going over the top. To tie it all together they utilized Ebony for the head veneer, bridge pins, bridge and fingerboard. This guitar is in excellent to mint condition with no visible dings or dents, little to no fret wear. Comes with an ornate hard shell case. In the words of Tomy Emanuel, " I played 2 BSG guitars in Poland recently and must compliment them on their great work, both guitars were extremely well made, beautifully finished, and sounded big, rich and sweet, with a lot of volume for a small bodied guitar...
