If you are a Telecaster lover this guitar is for you. This Blonde 1970 Telecaster has a wonderful tone and feel. It is in very good to excellent condition for a guitar of that year and is a total jaw dropper. I love the look of this guitar with the ash tray installed and it actually serves a nice practical purpose as it is more comfortable to rest ones hand on it rather than the intonation pole-pieces. This guitar also features a super nice neck, quite comfortable and appears to have a gloss finish. This is an absolute keeper, will not last long in our inventory and will be sorely missed when it is sold and gone. Comes with a new deluxe G&G case with gold crushed velvet interior.
Lookin' for a dread with tons of character, that plays easy and has that classic vintage Martin sound? Look no further! This 1970 D-18 is a treat for the ears. Fully refurbished by master luthier Pat DiBurro, this guitar was given the royal treatment, new frets, a neck reset and a good buffing. Someone even lovingly replaced the bridge pins with ebony with abalone dots and installed a fine ebony strap button at the heal of the neck so it is bluegrass jam ready! There is also an end-pin on the bottom of the guitar to attach the other side of your strap to. This guitar has a warm, round and rich tone along with being an absolute cannon! Comes with what appears to be the original hard shell case. Look good? Get it before its gone!
This vintage Strat from one of Fender's golden-eras is very good, mostly original condition and plays and sounds great like it should! There is one replaced pot and ferrule and the original style tuners are replacements for some incorrect ones that left a few small installation holes on the back of the headstock. This is a super player, the neck feels great. Unplugged, the sustain goes on forever and even longer when it's plugged in! W/tweed Fender hard shell case.
This classic amp has been thoroughly gone through and is in excellent playing condition It has a new grounded power cable, replaced Fender speaker and no footswitch. This is a true time machine and a great deal compared to new tube combos that don't sound as good... don't let it get away!
This classic bass has all the feel and tone that you expect from a top-the-line Alembic bass. The low-pass filter system with 3-way switches let you dial in all the tones you can imagine from subtle to outrageous! This bass is in excellent condition but the photo's show that there is a small issue with the tailpiece but we don't think that it will be a problem. Also, the bridge pick-up is slightly microphonic but it still sounds great. Call or write if you have any questions...this is a great bass! It comes with a heavy duty Star brand flight case.
If you are looking for a rock solid gigging Tele, this one is awesome. Three position switch, volume and a tone knob with a center detent, this guitar is modern and functional. Keeping it simple and effective. It has a wide array of easily accessible tones that will get you out of any jam. Over all condition is very good and it comes with a hard shell Fender case.
In excellent condition, this is one high-class Gold Top Les Paul with low action, killer sound and aging by master-finisher Tom Murphy. It is not every day that we receive a Brazilian Rosewood slope shoulder dreadnought so fully featured and with a crisp, robust and mature tone. Lets dig into some of the awesome features of this unique Burkett SD. Taking inspiration from 1937 Gibson AJ specs but with a 24.75" scale this instrument is comfortable to play but has tone in spades. One of my favorite things about this guitar is the wonderfully straight grained Brazilian Rosewood, finely quarter sawn. The neck shape is comfortable with a 1 3/4" nut. The Adirondack spruce top and braces lends the perfect soundboard for the winning Brazilian and Adi wood combination, often thought of as the finest wood combination for a guitar. This instrument is all tied together with a dazzling curly Koa body and binding along with a Koa /lack/Koa rosette. The cut-through saddle gives it a classic look and solid tone. And to top it all off it has a wonderful finish featuring a classic sunburst and nitro finish. Other fine details of this instrument include a 42 style fretboard inlay and Waverly tuners. The top has a repaired center seam which was re-glued and is stable. Ebony fingerboard & bridge, bone nut and saddle along with a Greven pickguard. This classic custom Further's origin story is featured on Alembic's website at: http://www.alembic.com/info/ fc_coyote.html . This one-owner guitar is in excellent condition Sometimes a guitar really transforms as Alembic makes it, inheriting the attributes of the symbols they embellish it with, becoming more than the sum of its parts. It's not something you can design or even do on purpose. The process itself shapes the work, and the result can be, well, just magical. How can we not start with the coyote medallion inlay? It's a little piece of original artwork that Susan Wickersham created with a good old-fashioned pencil. It features a coyote, lighting, and a little nod to New Riders of the Purple Sage with the cactus and the forms of the clouds. The pencil sketch is then digitized by Mica to create the fine line art that James uses to handcut each piece. The coyote is inlaid in agoya shell with a pink ivory wood lined mouth howling up to a mother of pearl moon through black Tahitian mother of pearl clouds. The desert is a synthetic tortoise shell. The mesas rising up are in both red and orange spiny oyster. The cactus is abalone and the lightning bolt is sterling silver. The whole show is wrapped in a tidy ring of sterling silver. Alembic's Quilted Maple is always beautiful, and of course Coyote's top laminate is gorgeous. What is especially interesting about this figuring on this guitar is the small, fluid-like "quilts" that just melt around each other. An all-over vintage amber tint gives a golden glow to the naturally lovely wood, and also looks great over the inlaid medallion, like a relic from a forgotten time. The front of the peghead looks black at first, but closer inspection reveals the typical grain of Ebony. The bevelled the front edge of the peghead to reveal the interior veneers of Maple and Purpleheart. A lone coyote paw print is the first fret position inlay. Mother of pearl makes up most of the inlay, with tiny sterling silver claws. The Alembic logo is sterling silver inlaid under the finish with mother of pearl and abalone. Fingerboard inlays are in abalone in the style of Ludwig banjos. Lovely symmetrical designs, hinting at the botanical. "Tumbleweed" is a good description of the shapes! On a custom guitar, it's hard to resist the allure of continuous wood backplates. Not only are they nice to your back (lighter weight than the standard brass), but they are also nice to your eyes. They are just too pretty! Each plate position is plotted carefully and expertly cut on a scroll saw and used to construct the plates. Playability is everything you could ask for: light weight and great balance. Strap up, plug in and let the coyote roam and see where she takes you! This amp in in excellent condition with no dings, dents or scratches and has only been living room played. The Rambler delivers classic American 'deluxe' tone with dramatically expanded clean headroom, solid bass response and the option of 28 watt pentode or 14 watt triode operation. The Rambler simply reflects Carr’s desire to improve and refine the original concept of an appropriately powered 1x12 club amp with reverb and tremolo. Rambler owners describe their amps as being warm, full and round, with a surprisingly high threshold of clean tone, (which also makes the Rambler uniquely suited to virtually any overdrive pedal ever built). The Rambler is considered by many to be the quintessential club amp, voiced to meet the needs of virtually any player, and all types of music. One of the distinctive traits of maple as a tonewood is its sonic transparency, which makes it wonderfully player-reflective. On this maple/spruce 614ce, a torrefied (specially roasted) Sitka spruce top and our tone-enhancing V-Class bracing take that natural versatility to a whole new level. Whatever the player brings to the guitar comes through—it can be played to sound warm or bright. The roasting process for the top elicits a more played-in tone, and together with the V-Class bracing gives the player a more expressive tool in the form of increased dynamic range, greater projection, longer sustaining notes, and more harmonic agreement with chords up the entire fretboard. The 614ce also stands out as one of the most touch-sensitive models in the entire Taylor acoustic line. Whether you play fingerstyle arrangements or strum in alternate tunings, whatever your preferred musical style, this guitar pays musical dividends on what you put into it. Aesthetic touches include a hand-rubbed Brown Sugar stain that highlights the rich figure of the maple back and sides, along with ebony binding, a paua abalone rosette trimmed with ebony and ivoroid, and our Wings fretboard and peghead inlays in grained ivoroid. The guitar ships with ES2 electronics in a deluxe hardshell case.
Wow, this guitar is in nearly unplayed, super clean condition! This super-versatile beauty features intuitive "single-cut" style controls that make it easy to nail the tones in your mind. Neck through construction yeilds lasting sustain. Rich low end response and crystalline highs are also a credit to the neck construction. The body is carved with tummy and elbow contours for an incredibly comfortable, familiar fit. The elbow carving also exposes the layers of accent laminates under the top as does the Heart Omega carving at the bottom of the body. The legendary Alembic electronics include a volume and filter for each pickup. Pickup selection is logical with an off/on/bright switch for each pickup. The amount of brightness in the "bright" setting can be adjusted to your personal preferences with a screwdriver-adjusted trimpot in the electronics cavity. Get ready to rethink your effector units and EQ settings, because this guitar is coming at you clean and clear, and it prefers to start things out with flat settings on the rest of your signal chain. Few artists in music history can be credited with changing the industry nearly overnight and continuing to influence music culture three decades after the height of their popularity. Kurt Cobain and his bandmates in Nirvana appeared on the scene in the early ‘90s as generational talents who combined raucous, heavy tones, punk-infused energy and melodic hooks to create a sound that quickly attracted millions of fans and established grunge and alternative rock as a genre with legitimate mainstream appeal. Although Kurt was seen playing a variety of Fender guitars over the years, his Fender Jaguar® and Mustang® remain the most iconic due to their use on the “Nevermind” tour and “Smells Like Teen Spirit” music video. Kurt designed the Jag-Stang® to combine his favorite elements of both instruments and brought it to life with help from the Fender Custom Shop in 1993. Commemorating the 30th anniversary of Nirvana’s seminal record “Nevermind,” this Jag-Stang comes equipped with the same features that made it Kurt’s ideal instrument. The alder body delivers a punchy tone perfect for big power chords, the 24” short-scale reduces string tension for easier playing, and the 7.25” radius rosewood fingerboard with maple neck has a comfortable feel that won’t fatigue your hands when chording. The vintage-style single-coil and custom humbucking pickups are perfect for recreating Kurt’s classic tones, while the Mustang slider switches provide the flexibility to dial in four distinct settings for a variety of in or out-of-phase tones. This is new old stock being sold as clearance and is sold as-described.
