Santa Cruz Founder Collection D/Pre War Model

The Founder Collection is the heart of who Santa Cruz Guitars is. These are the guitars they've always built — their standard models, built by the same luthiers, the same way, in the same Santa Cruz workshop — now presented as a named collection for the first time in honor of their very own Richard Hoover. To celebrate their first and next 50 years, they’ve also priced them more accessibly for players.

The Santa Cruz D Pre War is one of the best sounding dreadnought guitars around. The D Pre War's scalloped/advanced x Adi bracing gives this guitar a classic vintage tone. The large resonant body has a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides for classic tone. The genuine mahogany neck has a1 11/16" wide nut, a 23.375" scale and an ebony fingerboard for easy playing. It comes with a deluxe hard shell case.
