Dana thinks that it is but doesn’t know what it’s a hybrid with. Dana’s quote on this wood is “Sold to us as genuine Brazilian rosewood, we can attest that this attractive tonewood wood sounds like Brazilian, is of similar weight to Brazilian, and smells like Brazilian. However, due to its striking coloration and atypical grain patterning, we are of the opinion that this is most likely a hybridized version”.  We just love this wood for its look and sound! It comes with its hard shell case.
