AAAA Grade Engelmann spruce top with light bear claw figuring, exceptionally straight grained Indian Rosewood back and sides, curly koa bindings around the peghead, the end piece on the bottom and on the body front and back. There's a clear pick guard that's in excellent shape. It features a set of Gold Waverley tuners with snakewood tuner buttons. The fretboard and headstock overlay is Gabon ebony. The Northwood logo and sound hole ring are elegantly inlaid using highly colored Paua Abalone.

All top and back sound braces look to be high quality Sitka. The backstrip is wintergrain Engelmann spruce.

The guitar is very light, 3.8 lbs.

The condition is excellent. There's one very small indentation on the lower bout top and a very few, less than three or four scuffs overall – no significant dings or scratches except for that one on the lower bout.

The playability is exceptional. The neck shape is a super comfortable C, measures approx. 0.86" at the nut tapering to about 0.96" at the 10th fret. The neck is extremely comfortable to play as the profile provides a good amount of support from the shoulders and back of the neck. It lays great in the hand. The big plus here is with this particularly comfortable neck profile and the exceptional responsiveness of the overall guitar, it makes it a dream to play. It comes with a Guardian deluxe hard shell case.
