In the late 1980’s, Paul Reed Smith called on industry legend Ted McCarty to consult with him on guitar design and production techniques. He served as a mentor which led to the release of the McCarty model, an instrument that incorporates the full spectrum of techniques and knowledge Paul has gained from Ted as well as Paul’s own experiences as a guitar builder. The guitar is in excellent condition and comes with its original hard shell case.
