In excellent condition, this is one high-class Gold Top Les Paul with low action, killer sound and aging by master-finisher Tom Murphy. This comes from a brief time when Gibson was sending guitars to Tom Murphys workshop for Tom to age and relic himself. This went on till around 2004. In 2019 Tom Murphy founded the Murphy Lab at the Gibson Factory where they now do in-house Murphy styled aging. So if you want a piece of Gibson history this genuine Tom Murphy aged 59 Les Paul is the ticket. The original hardware is all included with the instrument but there are a Tone-Pro bridge and Tone-Pro gears which were drilled out so that the original screws could be used without any modification to the instrument which is 100% original. This baby checks in at 9 lbs 4.2 oz. It comes with its COA and its original hard shell case with case candy.
