Ah, the classic tone of the Martin D-18, warm and dry with a wonderful bass. This 1973 Martin D-18 possesses that wonderful sound, understated look and vibe. In keeping with the traditional Martin D-18 style, this one has a rosewood fingerboard/bridge, Sitka top/Mahogany back and sides with the body bound in black for that elegant look. This one is in overall good condition with medium/light fret-wear, checking in the finish, a few dings here and there. The action is on the higher side with the saddle on the lower side making it a good cowboy chord strummer/bluegrass machine, priced accordingly. Plenty of heel left for service, does not appear to have been reset before. Comes with its original blue Martin hard shell case.
