This 1962 Martin D-18 is a premier dreadnought with powerful, "broken-in" tone. Its tone is beautiful, woody and dry with fantastic immediacy. It is exceptionally responsive to picking and yields a percussive quality that works great for both aggressive strumming and delicate fingerstyle. This beauty features a Brazilian head plate, fingerboard and bridge, plays like butter and has nice low action. It is is in excellent condition. It has been refinished, re-topped with original pickguard, and has an expertly patched back and side. This restoration work was done by Master Luthier Pat DiBurro, author of C.F. Martin Guitars: A Repair Guide. With non-original Collings hard shell case.
