Bourgeois Custom | Brazilian RW & Adirondack | Shade Top! | Dreadnought

Unique and one of a kind, this Bourgeois dreadnought was carefully put together by Ben here at Northern Lights Music. He traveled to the Bourgeois factory and selected the finest Brazilian Rosewood available along with a Brazilian RW fretboard, bridge and headstock overlay/ heel cap to all match. Even the body and fingerboard binding on this guitar are Brazilian Rosewood. He selected a Torrefied Adirondack top with thick dark winter growth lines to give this dread extra stiffness and bark but besides the tonal benefit it gives the guitar an absolutely stunning look. To give it a bit of elegant and understated bling, an Abalone rosette and backstrip were added. A handsome sunburst adorns the top giving it a shade top handsomeness which when paired with the cut-through saddle gives the instrument that pre-war charm. On his trip to the Bourgeois factory, Ben learned they had recently developed a method for laser engraving the Bourgeois logo into the back of the headstock and inside back bracing, rather than water slide decal. So Ben went ahead and added that and it brings the whole build up a notch in sophistication. This is one of the absolute finest Dreadnoughts Ben has ever put together and it has the sound to match.
