Here's a real deal player from 1963! It has a great neck, sound and playability overall and is dripping with that vintage vibe that we all seek. It’s a stained finish (originally sunburst) instrument with an original bridge pickup and what look to be Mustang pickups with flat poles in the neck and middle positions. The middle pickup has been recently rewound and reverse wired to 1963 specs with a new 5-way switch installed. It has a new pick-guard and backplate but the original pick-guard and 3-way switch are included. Perfect specimens go for $40,000 so this guitar is priced so that the next owner can enjoy it as it is or have refinished and swap out a pick-up or two and still get a great value! Either ‘60s or early ‘70s case with orange lining is included.

Fair condition/great player! What makes this a player? It's tone and mojo! The neck plate shows a number consistent with 1967 The body shows an "R" in the neck pocket that indicates it was made in 1966 The neck is undated and stamped with G. Garcia which indicates that is a late 1970's neck Rewound and potted pickups, replaced pots 70's style tuners Refinished body (and maybe some neck overspray?) Non-original tweed case We've gone through it and set it up with nice low, correctly intonated action and it's ready to ride into the decades ahead!

This vintage Strat from one of Fender's golden-eras is very good, mostly original condition and plays and sounds great like it should! There is one replaced pot and ferrule and the original style tuners are replacements for some incorrect ones that left a few small installation holes on the back of the headstock.
