SoldBourgeois 00-12 Soloist Legacy Series Custom
This is the first 00 that Bourgeois has built featuring an armrest for extra comfort. We designed and personally selected the woods for this 00 cutaway at the Bourgeois shop with Dana’s Bourgeois’ input. This great sounding 00 features a fantastic set of Brazilian Rosewood and a beautiful Redwood top. The cutaway and arm bevel make this short scale, 12-fret guitar a breeze to play and the 1 3/4” width nut gives you plenty of room for comfortable chording. It comes with a hard shell case.
SoldBourgeois Banjo Killer - SD Country Boy - Legacy Series
This guitar has killer sound and looks. It features a highly figured Bearclaw Aged Tone Sitka Spruce. The sides and back are Figured Mahogany. It also has a great looking Ziricote fingerboard, headstock overlay, and belly bridge. The tone is aided by Aged Tone bracing attached with animal protein glue. We know that it’s designed for flatpicking but it’s also great for fingerpicking! Other features include a 1 23/32" nut width for easy playing, a satin neck finish, and Waverly Nickel/Ivoroid tuners. It comes with a deluxe hard shell case.
SoldBourgeois GA Vintage/ Heirloom Series
We love the GA size! It has just the right balance of size and slimness that make it easy to play and gives it a rich sound. The long scale neck on this guitar features a 1 3/4” nut for a luxurious feel. It features an Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce top and premium grade Indian Rosewood back and sides. It has Aged Tone Bracing attached with animal protein glue as well as Aged Tone finish. The look of the woods are complemented by Ivoroid binding, 30’s style purfling and Waverly Nickel Butterbean tuners. It comes with it’s hard shell case.

This is one sweet Mahogany OMS with great tone thanks to it’s Aged Tone Sitka Spruce top. The long scale and 1 3/4” width nut makes this guitar easy to play with great feeling string tension. It’s look is completed with Tortoise binding and a Black/Maple top border purfling and Waverly 3/Plate/Ebony tuners. It comes with a hard shell case.

Sold2011 Bourgeois DB Signature Model OM
This gorgeous OM features a premium grade Adirondack “Red” Spruce top and master-grade Madagascar Rosewood back and sides. The tone is as good as an OM can get with a rich and balanced sound. It is in near-mint condition with very little sign of play for a 10 year old guitar beyond some light fret wear and a very small ding or two onto top. It comes with its original hard shell case.

Sold2020 Bourgeois OM Soloist - Large Sound Hole Custom Koa
Here is a guitar that really has it all. First, it’s one of the very best sounding OM’s to come out of the Bourgeois shop, there’s just something about that large soundhole! This gorgeous cutaway OM features an Aged Tone Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top and Master Grade Hawaiian Koa back and sides. The 1 3/4” nut width and 25 1/5” scale length combine to make this guitar a breeze to play. Aged Tone options also include Adirondack Spruce Bracing, and Animal Protein Glue. The DB Signature 3-color herringbone purfling and gold Waverly tuners with Ebony buttons add to the elegant look of this beautiful guitar. It was just built in December of 2020 and is in excellent condition with no issues. It originally sold for $11,300. It comes with it’s hard shell case.

This is a special one, designed by Ben. The inspiration for this was a 1933 Martin OM-18, but this one has some modern twists. Added to this guitar is a striking Bearclaw Sitka top that makes this guitar pop, and a gloss neck without volute similar to what you might find on a Collings. The headstock has a beautiful full gloss Brazilian Rosewood headstock overlay. So this instrument takes a page from tradition and adds high-end modern appeal. Here is a video we made of our visit to the Bourgeois factory in Lewiston, Maine. We interviewed Dana Bourgeois about his guitar philosophy and juxtaposed those words with video of his small crew hand crafting these fine guitars. As you can see, it is like something from the old days, so much hand crafting and attention to the details. At each step in the guitar construction process skilled luthiers carefully complete their task. Whether it be carving, sanding, stringing and setup each stage requires experience and care. This is what makes these Bourgeois guitars so great.
While Bourgeois has broadened their global reach through their Eastman collaboration called the Touchstone series, all other series such as the Professional, Heirloom, Legacy, Agetone etc... are completely hand crafted in the USA at the Lewiston factory under the watchful eye of Dana Bourgeois.
