This offering from Woodspeak Basses of Lewiston, Maine, one of the most skilled, local builders we know, is in excellent condition! This short scale, lightweight bass tips the scales at a back-saving 8 lbs. 1 oz! That’s partly because the body is made from resonant Adirondack Spruce. It sports a gorgeous Mahogany top and back, a Maple and Madagascar Rosewood neck and a Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard. It is loaded with active/passive Bartolini pickups powered by an Aguilar OPB3 pre-amp. The look and performance are completed by custom Hipshot hardware. The controls are volume, select, tone/treble and active mid and bass. This is an easy to play, great feeling and sounding bass with a lot of versatility. It is currently strung to be tuned from low E to C and comes with a Transit Collection Gator gig bag.
