    This beautiful Traditional Series dreadnought is designed and crafted to showcase the most desirable characteristics present in coveted pre-war instruments. Bracing and tone woods are adjusted for weight and thickness to create a voicing characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, while retaining a quick attack and strong projection. The 1 3/4" nut width, 25 1/2" scale length and 2 5/16" bridge spacing make this guitar comfortable to play. The Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides and the all lacquer aging toner finish give the guitar a warm full sound. The drop-in bridge allows for easy adjustments in the future. It is in excellent condition but has signs of capo use at the bottom of the back of the headstock. It comes with a hard shell case.

    It is a rare occasion that we receive a gently pre-owned Waterloo guitar, built by Collings. This all solid Mahogany guitar is easy playing and has a rich, sweet sound. As with all Collings instrument quality abounds despite the reasonable pricing. Featuring a nice comfortable 1 11/16" nut width and easy to reach 24.75" scale length this guitar is super easy to play despite sporting a full 14 frets to the body. The condition is excellent with the lightest of fret and pickguard wear one might expect on a gently handled, home use instrument. This guitar comes with its original Waterloo hard shell case. There is a bit of wear on the headstock where a string-winder turns. Overall, a fun to play and finely crafted guitar at an attractive price point.

Paired with an excellent set of East Indian Rosewood on the back and sides this guitar has that classic Martin sound. Crisp, balanced and punchy this instrument is ready for the stage and the studio. A couple upgrades on this fine instrument include a professionally installed custom pickguard by Holter Pickguards, Grover 18:1 vintage style open back tuners along with some fine antique acoustic bridge pins, a fossilized Ivory saddle and a faux alligator hard shell case by TKL. All of this taking an already awesome guitar to the next level of drool-worthiness. This instrument has been setup with nice easy to play action, a 1 3/4" nut and sounds exceptional both with a flat pick and finger-style. Overall condition is excellent for a gently used instrument and there is a strap button installed in the usual position at the heel of the neck. Get it before its gone!
