Used 1947 Gibson J-45

Well, here is a real vintage classic for you. One of the greats from Gibson, a J-45 from 1947 ! One of the great treasures of American music history. Beautifully aged over the years, this guitar has opened up nicely and has a complex/lush tone. The neck on this is a classic medium-chunky D shape with a 1 11/16" nut. The bridge and fingerboard are Brazilian Rosewood. The sound is rich and lush with plenty of bass tones. The wood has aged nicely offering a crisp aged sound. This makes any other guitar sound thin compared. This guitar plays nicely as it is, especially for bluegrass but the action is a bit on the high-side with a low saddle, so to play any better this one would need a neck reset which has been taken into consideration when pricing this guitar.
