Testimonials

Dan & Moocho,
This new guitar is... amazing. You can't make a bad sound with it! One can try to create dissonance and horrific sounds.. but one would fail! Or at least I have so far. It is SO SWEET sounding. (My old guitar sounds like a junk toy to me now.)
Feeling an obligation to rise to the occasion, I have been practicing one to two hours per night, for over a week now. My tips are numb, so I might take tonight off to let the fingers strengthen/heal. Two nights ago I landed my first clean & quick barred-F chord. And the other barred-shapes are coming together too. I have not played guitar enough to have ever worked these, so this is new territory for me. Which is why I feel so out-classed by my guitar.
Did I mention that my new guitar is SO SWEET!!!?
Thanks for selling me something I didn't need... because I sure do love it! And now I am going to learn to play guitar.
Cheers,
C.S. in NH

Dan and Moocho,

Thank you both for all of your help with selecting my Taylor GC BTO. Your knowledge and personal experience were crucial for me
to make the best decisions for me from the myriad of options. Now that I have my custom guitar, I think it looks and sounds exactly
like what I wanted. Both of you have been very gracious and patient during the decision process so making the 2 hour drive is well
worth it for me. THANK YOU!!

Hello Dan,
I was at Northern Lights last month and purchased an R Taylor style 2. I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how much I appreciated the great deal you gave me. I am thoroughly enjoying my guitar and play it every day. These are tough times for many small businesses but I am confident things will pick-up soon. I enjoyed my visit and passed along information about my positive experience with others on the Acoustic Guitar Forum. I'm not that far away so I will be sure to visit again in the future. Those new Taylors are calling my name. I also really liked the NS72 you had for sale. Once again, thanks so much for the positive experience as it was the highlight of my vacation.
Cheers

Hi Dan,
The guitar is phenomenal!! I have never seen a guitar that looks as good as this one (and I've been in a lot of shops!). Those that have seen it so far go through the same jaw-dropping scenario. It's kind of funny, they have so much reverence for it, they won't pick it up and play it.
And, speaking of playing -- It plays and sounds like a Steinway! The wider neck and shorter scale are clearly the right combination for me. Thanks again for all your help in ordering it.
Clif,
Vermont

PS: Thanks again for the humidifier and strap.

Hi Dan,
I love my new Taylor!!!
I kind of wish I had bought one sooner. Not only does it sound amazing by its self, but it also sounds amazing plugged into a pa. It sounds natural and real!
This guitar makes me want to play.
Thanks again
JD
